Public Health Standards and Knowledge Committee
The Public Health Standards and Knowledge Committee was established by the Board in 1999 to:
- Recommend to the Faculty Board, through the Executive, the structures and processes by which high quality public health practice can be achieved through public health governance
- Develop standards and audit for public health practice
- Offer guidance on how best to achieve continuing professional development and audit
- Propose principles and mechanisms for appraisal and revalidation in public health practice
- Ensure the membership is fully informed of its recommendation.
