Election results for FPH's next Vice President for Policy

FPH is very pleased to announce the election of Professor Simon Capewell as FPH’s next Vice President for Policy.  He will take up office following the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in June 2015 and will serve for a term of three years.

Professor Capewell qualified from Newcastle University and subsequently trained in clinical medicine (general, respiratory and cardiovascular) in Cardiff, Oxford and then in Edinburgh where he converted to public health. He then moved to Glasgow University before being appointed as the first Professor of Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Liverpool in 1999.

We very much look forward to working with Simon, would also like to record our sincere thanks to Chris Packham and Gerry Waldron for their interest in standing for election and for their commitment to FPH.
