Sex as a Public Health Issue - Navigating the Public Health Landscape working Together Effectively

The Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH) & the Faculty of Public Health (FPH) are jointly organising a one-day conference on Friday 22nd September 2017. We aim to provide an engaging, interactive conference that supports that focuses on SRH as a public health issue, specifically the pathways of using data and evidence to improve sexual health practice and services, and being able to provide basic and universal SRH level of care.

The conference will draw together professionals from a range of sectors to discuss the challenges they face, share knowledge and hear from those who have significant experience in this field. This important event will seek to raise awareness and understanding of the particular issues arising in SRH.

With keynote speeches and plenaries from a multi-disciplinary panel, this conference will explore key areas and will be a lively, educational and informative day for all who attend.

The event aims to bring together anyone who is involved in the writing of tender documents, commissioners, decision makers, CCGs, GPs and Senior Doctors and Nurses to facilitate a joined up discussion. The conference will ensure delegates leave with a clearer understanding of the system and how they can they work to improve services.
