FPH’s new President announced

We are delighted to announce the election of Professor John Middleton as the new FPH President. He will take office from the close of the FPH annual general meeting (AGM) in June 2016 and serve for a term of three years.

John is the immediate past FPH Vice President for Policy, an office that he held for five years. He is an Honorary Professor of Public Health at Wolverhampton University and former Director of Public Health in Sandwell.

John will bring considerable experience, enthusiasm and passion for public health to the role of President. We would like to congratulate him on his election and wish him every success in leading the organisation through the challenges of the next three years.

John Middleton said: "I am delighted and honoured to have been elected as your next Faculty President and I look forward to taking up the task after next year's AGM in Brighton."

We would like to record our sincere thanks to all the candidates who stood in this election. A full report of the election results can be found on the FPH online members’ area.
