FPH welcomes joint manifesto on child health

The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH) have published a joint manifesto for the General Election on Thursday 7 May 2015.

Dr John Middleton, Vice President for the Faculty of Public Health, said: "FPH welcomes this joint manifesto, and supports the initiatives that it calls for. Ensuring parents get the right support is vital to giving babies and children the best possible start in life.

"Our own manifesto, Start Well, Live Better, also focuses on the importance of early years health. Start Well, Live Better identifies 12 important and practical actions for anyone serious about giving our children the best possible chance of a healthy and happy life."
