FPH Workforce Strategy

The Faculty of Public Health (FPH) has drafted a new workforce strategy

The strategy has been developed over several months and builds on a number of other documents and strategies available across the UK. It is aimed at ensuring that FPH has a clear vision for the future. It also lays out key objectives that will ensure we continue to have excellent training in public health and that we also have a high-calibre workforce available across the UK.

We are keen to get feedback from our members and other interested parties.

It would be helpful if, when you read the strategy, as well as providing general feedback, you could consider the following questions:

  • Does the strategy cover the key elements of workforce issues that you consider a priority?
  • Is a three-year strategy period the right timeline?
  • Do you think there are any issues missing from the strategy?
  • Would you like to be kept involved via the FPH Board about implementation of the strategy?

Please direct any comments you have to by 15 September 2017.
