Members
The Faculty of Public Health is the standard-setting body for consultants in public health and currently has about 3,000 members.
FPH membership allows increased participation in this professional organisation for public health specialists in the UK.
It also provides individuals with the opportunity to expand beneficial career networks and influence the decision making which will affect their present and future professional lives. It also gives them access to a number of sources of profession-specific information.
Why be a member?
FPH membership provides individuals with the opportunity:
- to expand beneficial career networks and influence the decision making which will affect their present and future professional lives
- to contribute towards the setting and maintenance of the standards in their profession.

Privileges
All members of the FPH are entitled to:
- receive all general notices sent by the FPH to its members and such other publication as the Board shall from time to time determine
- enjoy such privileges as the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom may grant them
- attend and speak at General Meetings of the FPH
- vote at General Meetings of the FPH
- vote in elections of the Board, and of President and Vice President
- serve on the Board
- serve on other committees as determined from time to time by the Board
- participate generally in the activities of the FPH.
In addition to these, Fellows of the FPH are entitled to:
- serve in any Office of the FPH
- serve on the Fellowship Committee
- make proposals for the distinction grades of membership.

- use of facilities at 4 St Andrew's Place (Wilfrid Harding meeting room and President's room);
- use of parent Colleges' facilities (including the London College's guest rooms at 9-10 St Andrew's Place when on Faculty business).
