Who is eligible for SpR/SpT/StR Membership?

Trainee membership is open to any specialist registrar (SpR), specialist trainee (SpT) or specialty registrar (StR) undertaking an approved course of training in public health (medicine).

On passing the Part A of the Membership examination, SpR/SpT/StR Members may become Diplomate Members of the Faculty.

Specific financial benefits

SpR/SpT/StR Members can pay Part A and Part B MFPH examination fees by interest-free instalments and can pay the fee for the Faculty's annual conference by post-dated cheque.

They are also eligible for the four-year subscription package, which offers a number of financial benefits.

Application process

Trainees enrolling with the Faculty will automatically be considered for election to trainee membership. Once their election has been approved by the Faculty Board, further details will be sent by the Membership Admissions Administrator. There is no need to send a separate application.

Trainees who have enrolled with the Faculty and have not received an information pack offering you trainee membership should contact the Membership Admissions Administrator – membership@fph.org.uk

Trainees, please note that SpR/SpT/StR Membership is not the same as trainee enrolment with the Faculty.
