Step up and join the conference cuts debate

This year’s conference will have a highly interactive debate about the issue of the moment, the government’s budget cuts. Public health experts should know better than anyone else where budgets need to be made safe, and the value of particular work.

So why not make your argument in public at the conference and then debate it with the audience and the panel on stage. We are asking members to submit a proposal on a particular part of public health work and the need for its budget to be ring fenced. Send your 100 word proposal to us, and then be prepared to step up on stage and defend it on the day. Proposals should be sent to:
