CHAD/FPH Webinar - From consultation to co-creation
The University of Staffordshire’s Centre for Health and Development (CHAD) and the Faculty of Public Health are delighted to invite you to the next webinar of our series around health and social inequalities.
This session, 'From consultation to co-creation: Reflections on community place-based co-creation activities among marginalised groups' will feature Dr Rachel Hopley, Senior Research Fellow, University of Wolverhampton.
In this webinar, Rachel will provide an insight into #WolvesWellbeingandMe - a programme of work delivered in partnership with Wolverhampton City Council’s Public Health Team that provided grassroots insight into the mental health and wellbeing of people and communities across the city following the Covid-19 pandemic and co-created projects with diverse communities to share their unique experience. Rachel will focus on how involvement in community place-based co-creation activities were found to support wellbeing among marginalised groups; reflections on the benefits of this approach; and conclude with considerations for future place-based community engagement activities designed to bring together the University, Local Authority and local community for greatest impact.
