Drugs SIG
The Drugs Special Interest Group seeks to:

Develop and advocate policies and programmes to support the delivery of FPH’s strategic plan in relation to the following specific objectives:
- Improving access to effective, evidence-based treatment
- Promoting and supporting long-term recovery
- Reducing drug related deaths and other health harms -
Identify and share good practice, emerging evidence, authoritative guidance and relevant developments in the field.

Act as an expert resource to FPH and its members on policies, strategies, practices, and the evidence in relation to drugs treatment, recovery and harm reduction

Actively collaborate with the Alcohol SIG, Mental Health SIG, other key agencies and professionals

Provide a forum for FPH members with an interest in this area
The Drugs Special Interest Group reports to the Faculty's Health Services Committee.
