This webinar marks the next and final session in the 2025/2026 CHAD/FPH webinar series on health and social inequalities.
This session will feature an expert presentation from Professor John Middleton, Honorary Professor of Public Health at the University of Wolverhampton.
John will reflect on why we have failed to reduce health inequalities, why so little action is being taken on climate breakdown, and how we are failing to address the pandemic of mental distress, particularly in young people. The ‘causes of the causes’ of public health problems, from homelessness and poverty through to international conflict, can be found in the major geopolitical trends of the last 40 years.
