The Public Health Ethics and Pandemic Preparedness Special Interest Groups are delighted to present this 90-minute interactive workshop exploring the ethical challenges that arise before and during a pandemic.
We are honoured to welcome our keynote speaker, Professor Kevin Fong — broadcaster, consultant anaesthetist, and former National Clinical Adviser in Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response for COVID-19, among many other roles.
This session will begin with an introduction to key ethical principles and their relevance in a pandemic context. Participants will then be invited to engage in a facilitated discussion, applying these concepts to a hypothetical scenario.
