Chronic pain affects 15.5 million people in England, with one in eight adults experiencing life-limiting symptoms. Despite its scale, chronic pain is often overlooked in public health and policy.
Chronic pain disproportionately affects people in poverty, with those in the most deprived areas twice as likely to be affected.
This joint webinar between the Faculty's Musculoskeletal Health and Poverty Special Interest Groups explores the public health burden of chronic pain, its social and structural drivers, and how systems must respond.
