Public Health Spaces: Anti-racism in Public Health Training
The Faculty's Public Health Spaces are a series of informal meetings where FPH members showcase significant pieces of public health work, research or practice.
This Public Health Spaces session will focus on the work of the Faculty in regards to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion – specifically ongoing work to apply an anti-racist approach to public health specialty training.
Representatives from the Faculty’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee and Special Interest Group will discuss the Faculty’s Anti-racism Framework, and ongoing work to ensure we have an anti-racist and decolonised public health curriculum.
Colleagues will also share examples of anti-racist practice in local training environments, and there will be an update on the Faculty’s work to reduce unfair bias in examinations.
