Public Health Spaces: the future of the health protection system in England

How should public health professionals respond to the parallel challenges of emerging risks, system changes and financial pressures?

At this members-only Public Health Spaces session, the Chair of FPH’s Health Protection Committee Professor Dominic Mellon will discuss challenges and opportunities for the future of the health protection system in England.

Dominic will be joined by a panel of senior health protection leaders, including:

  • Professor Kevin Fenton, FPH President
  • Professor Dame Jenny Harries, UKHSA Chief Executive 
  • Sarah Price, Director for Public Health at NHS England 
  • Dr Will Welfare, Director of Health Protection in Regions at UKHSA
