FPH & ICHG Statement on Impact of Aid Cuts on Yemen Crisis Child Health

The “Faculty of Public Health statement on Impact of Aid Cuts on Yemen Crisis Child Health” was published on 20 March 2021.

Since then, the Faculty of Public Health’s Board of Trustees, in collaboration with the FPH Ethics Committee, has developed new Faculty policy to govern whether, and how, the Faculty should respond to international humanitarian emergencies, conflicts, and requests for public statements.

The FPH Policy on Responding to International Humanitarian Emergencies and Conflicts was approved on 06 October 2025. In accordance with this policy, the Board of Trustees has agreed to withdraw any previous statements that may contravene this new policy.

As a result, the “Faculty of Public Health statement on Impact of Aid Cuts on Yemen Crisis Child Health” has been withdrawn.
