Retired Membership

By joining us as a  retired FPH Member or Fellow you will be able to continue to connect to the professional home of public health and will be kept informed of our work as we support and campaign on public health issues. You will also gain opportunities to participate in this work through our specialist networks and events.

Retired Fellows have the following additional benefits.

  • Eligible for Faculty Advisor status

Fees

These are based on how much you earn each year from public health related work and does not include any other source of income, including pension.

£109 per year - no income or an income of less than £10,000 per annum.

£271 per year -  an income of more than £10,000 but less than £25,000 per annum.

Lifetime Retired - one-off payment of £1,131.

Full membership salary related reductions apply if income is above £25,000 per annum.

Eligibility

You must be fully or semi-retired from Public Health work.

Apply

Current members of FPH should complete this form to request an update to their membership grade and band. Changes will not be made retrospectively and will be made from the start of next calendar month.

New or previous members of FPH should complete this form to join.

Renewals

In December each year you will be sent your renewal letter, along with your invoice which is due for payment on receipt. This does not apply to lifetime retired membership.
