Professor Raman Bedi elected as Vice President – President Elect of the World Federation of Public Health Association
The UK Faculty of Public Health welcomes the election of Professor Raman Bedi, Honorary Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health, as Vice President – President Elect of the World Federation of Public Health Associations.
Professor Bedi has led a long and outstanding career, serving as Chief Dental Officer of England from 2002 to 2005, and is an internationally leading figure in driving forward effective dental public health policy at the highest levels.
Professor of Transcultural Oral Health at King’s College London, Professor Bedi’s research and practice has included a focus on tackling inequalities in dental care provision and child oral health.
The Faculty of Public health congratulates Professor Bedi on his appointment, and looks forward to working closely with the World Federation of Public Health Associations in the coming years.
