The Commercial Determinants of Health SIG was established in 2024 to support the public health profession to become skilled and competent in identifying, understanding and addressing the commercial determinants of health (CDoH). The SIG aims to signpost to relevant academic, policy or practical expertise on CDoH, provide a focal point for FPH members interested in working on CDoH and provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, knowledge and information. The CDOH SIG also work with other SIGs in this space, to identify how their work can contribute to addressing the CDoH and identify opportunities for shared learning and advocacy.

The Commercial Determinants of Health SIG reports to the Advocacy and Policy Committee, and is chaired by Professor Tracy Daszkiewicz and Dr Alice Kadri. The SIG can be contacted at: cdohfphsig@gmail.com.
