The Faculty of Public Health Final Membership Examination (MFPH)

Successfully passing the Final Membership Examination leads to nomination for Membership of the Faculty of Public Health (MFPH). This, in combination with the satisfactory completion of an approved Public Health training programme, confers eligibility to apply for a certificate of completion of training (CCT) and entry on to the General Medical Council’s Specialist Register (Consultants with a medical background) or the UK Public Health Register’s Specialist Register (Consultants with a non-medical background). Individuals who are not on an approved training programme may still sit the Final Membership Examination and be elected to Membership.

Please refer to the training programme diagram within the curriculum for an overview of the specialty training programme.
